- At least 6 years of experience of selling information services or information products (not software), preferably with a knowledge of sales / pre sales to banking, insurance or telecom clients. Understanding of end customer lifecycle for these segments are preferred.
- Previous experience in Institutional Sales and Business Development activities such as Opportunity assessment, lead generation and deal closure
- Ability to ask questions to identify latent customer needs, map that to product ideas or features & convert concept sale to a deal
- Ability to chase & meet targets, every month with a demonstrated orientation towards generating high value deals.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships.
- Should possess a warm personality and a willingness to travel
- Demonstrated evidence ability to build consensus with suppliers
- Understanding of technology, data analytics and IT systems is preferred. Ability to create use case based sales pitch, derive inferences from aggregated data and create business opportunities
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and demonstrated self driven behaviour towards increasing individual competence
- Preferably should have client or non-peer referrals to demonstrate the above
Desired/ Preferred Skills :
- Sales performance & certificates / MBA will be advantage
- Good communication skills - verbal and written Mandatory
- Should be good in MS Office.
