- We are seeking a dynamic Manager/Senior Manager to drive the acquisition of new clients and manage business development for General Insurance products.
- The role involves strategizing for new markets, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Function:
- Acquire new clients and grow the customer base.
- Drive business development for General Insurance products, including Mediclaim, Asset, Fire, Liability, Engineering, and Marine insurance.
- Develop and execute strategies to explore new markets and retain existing clients.
- Guide the sales team in responding to inquiries, RFQs, and mandate letters.
- Provide clear insights on pricing and product features, emphasizing their impact on profitability.
Relationship Management:
- Manage corporate clients and maintain strong relationships to foster trust and loyalty.
- Leverage existing corporate relationships to focus on closures.
- Liaise with insurers and TPAs to ensure better service delivery and competitive quotes for clients.
Other Functions:
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for corporate data requirements.
- Oversee documentation and policy issuance processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Track competitor activities to stay updated on market trends and take proactive measures.
-Analyze client risk portfolios, providing strategies to mitigate losses and maintain profitability.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in B2B sales and customer-facing roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
