Job Description

Position title - Risk Management

Job purpose: (part of description)

To support the Risk Management Lead in implementing, supporting and monitoring Systems and Compliances for the business and also support compliance matters.

Note: This role does not include and does not handle STP & SEZ compliances relating to all centers of the company in India

- Manage company's specific internal compliances applicable to legal entity and employees

- Support the Lead in monitoring compliances connected with various corporate laws applicable to operations in India and help advising department heads on various statutory, secretarial, legal issues etc.

- Coordinating compliance audits and testing

- Manage Business Relationship specific compliances as per company policy

- Coordinating global & country related initiatives

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all the types Agreements

- Work on updating templates for various business requirements

- Assist in preparing MIS which includes dashboards

- Help in BPMS implementation, implementation and alignment of Risk management process across all company's locations - India and Non India

- Support the lead in managing new projects

- Help in drafting specific policies for GDN India operations

- Assisting with the review, development and implementation of compliance laws, rules and standards through policies

- Review labour law issues for HR teams

Requirements (Qualifications)

We are looking for the candidates with the following: (Qualifications)

Technical skills requirements

- Work experience in contract drafting, contract review, or regulatory compliance or Risk management

- For Manager Minimum of 9+ years & For Senior Manager Minimum of 13+ of experience in legal, compliance role

- Experience of having worked in a corporate legal / compliance team that handles local Indian law compliances OR work experience in a law firm in India

Note: Experience of working in LPO processes NOT useful for this role

- Law qualification/ CS Inter

You will need to:

- Attention to details is a must (eg. read a document with each word or line reviewed for comments)

- Possess excellent communication skills

- Legal and analytical bent of mind (this is more important than the professional qualification)

- Excellent legal understanding of contracting

- Demonstrate strong logical and analytical skills

- Demonstrate good follow up skills

- Demonstrate time management skills

- Have good computer skills especially Microsoft word & power point
