Manager/Senior Manager - Outsourcing Risk Management - Banking

The role holder is responsible for managing outsourcing risk for the vendors engaged by the Bank. The role shall be responsible for conducting due diligence for new vendor engagement in accordance with regulatory guidelines and oversight over vendors on an ongoing basis. The role holder should have thorough knowledge of RBI guidelines on Outsourcing of Financial Services by Banks.

Qualification-- BCOM/BTech

- MBA in Finance / Masters in Computer Science

Job Responsibility:

- Conduct thorough evaluation and perform necessary due diligence for a prospective Service Provider prior to engaging the Service Provider.

- Perform Outsourcing & Vendor Agreement review for all Units of the Bank.

- Schedule and Conduct Vendor Risk Reviews Onsite and Offsite reviews to ascertain the effectiveness of the Vendor's Operational aspects such as Information Security, Process, Business Continuity and Physical Security.

- Issue Vendor Risk Review Reports/ Observation to Senior and Top Management. Coordinate with Senior and Top Management to ensure timely closure of open observations.

- Monitor contractual requirements/ adherence to SLAs by establishing acceptable performance metrics (KPIs) for various vendors and ensure that these SLA's are part of vendor agreement

- Coordinate with Units of the Bank for collation of Vendor Operational Errors and update Bank's Operational Risk Database. Conduct Root Cause Analysis for Vendor lapses

- Create and Circulate Advisories and Newsletter to the Departments and Vendors

- Manage outsourcing committee meetings pertaining to outsourcing risk management

- Ensure viable BCP/DR plan for all the critical vendors and testing of the same on periodic basis

- Conduct trainings on a periodic basis to all Operations and Support units of the bank for implementation of Vendor Management Framework

- Preferably in a Technology / Banking / Consultancy Environment/IS Audits / Managing Outsourcing Risk
