Manager/Senior Manager - Product Pricing- (CT series of actuarial exam pass)
Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)
- To price new products and ensure company's internal standard operating procedures, internal guidelines set by the Company/CRO are met. Conduct risk analysis for all new products and provide input into the product mix and profitability
- To analyze the product design, identify feature risks, actuarial and business principles
- To assist in finalizing the product approval document - identification of risks, mitigation plans, assessment of residual risks, assessment of capital requirements, assessment of profitability, customer suitability
- To finalize File and use document for regulatory approval - brochure, benefit illustration, T&C, compliance with local requirements etc.
- To closely work with different department in terms of product set up or system development of new product systems in order to guide them on the queries they have and understanding they have on various product features
- To analyze product margins post-issuance and manage the product repricing process as and when required as per established company guidelines
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position)
- At least CT series complete with relevant pricing experience of at least 2 years.
- 3-5 years of experience in industry and 2 years in product development and pricing
- Pricing & Risk understanding. Overall business and life insurance industry understanding & knowledge. Ability to handle conflict and complex situations
- Proficient in MS Excel, VBA preferably
