Manager/Senior Manager - Procurement/Sourcing/Materials Management - Renewable Industry

We have opening for Manager / Sr Manager for Renewable industry based at Andheri, Mumbai.

Position Review:

- The incumbent will be accountable for driving the commercial negotiations and contract delivery for WTG supply and installation and related auxiliary services, aiming to achieve the best cost-effective conditions, lowering risk and ensuring the delivery of all products and services required for the different phases of the projects on time, on budget and with the relevant performance and delivery guarantees.

- The candidate must demonstrate the focus and drive dedicated to the development and execution of the commercial and contracting strategy and the value creating for the Company across simultaneous projects in several geographies.

- The candidate shall also be responsible for ensuring Dept. Level compliance with policy guidelines, leading efforts in improving Dept. KRAs, and effective internal customer / stakeholder management. To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Key Delivery:

1. Formulate and drive all strategic initiatives towards the goal of achieving long-term partnerships with WTG OEMs

2. Execution of RFIs, RFPs/RFQs and any necessary bid process to evaluate product options and select the right WTG OEM for a given project or set of projects.

3. Manage negotiations regarding WTG supply contracts (MOU, LTSA, WTG Supply/ Warranty/ O&M contracts, etc.)

4. Develop a close network with all wind industry players and stakeholders having an impact on business, including current and potential entrant OEMs (provide strategic market intelligence).

5. Manage entire Procure-to-Pay Process - Prepare and Release RFP, Obtain Quotes, Negotiate, Prepare Techno-commercial Evaluation and Comparison Statement, Recommendation, Note for Approval, Contract/ Purchase Order/ Work Order Preparation & Closure.

6. To monitor Budget v/s Actual expense and circulate MIS regularly (Weekly) for monitoring of WTG procurement activities and sharing the same with senior management

7. Settle issues with Supplier/ Contractor viz. payment reconciliation, debit note, implementation of penalty clauses, risk purchase clauses etc.

8. Work collaboratively with Engineering, Projects, Finance & Accounts, Legal, and Construction teams to understand cost targets, project timelines, compliance aspects and related constraints

Qualifications & Exposure:

1. Networking, Supplier/ Contractor Relationship Management, Keeping up-to-date with Industry, Knowledge of Product Upgrade / Technology Changes

2. Well-versed with contractual clauses and Legal aspects pertaining to Procurement & Supply Chain domain

3. Managing Negotiations for Better Deals, Problem Solving, Data Analysis and Presentation, Written & Verbal Communication Skills

4. Proficient in handling BGs, NDAs, Supplier / Contractor Invoices Verification as per Contract / Order, and Payment Outstanding

5. Conversant with ERP software such as SAP HANA/ Ariba & procurement tools/ software for conducting auctions

6. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil)

7. Successful track record of 10 to 12 years in Procurement / Sourcing / Materials Management with minimum 4-5 years of experience in handling procurement of WTG

8. Extensive knowledge of the Indian renewable Wind energy market.
