Role Description We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager MES working out of Chennai factory responsible for ownership of MES platforms across the company The MES platform owner will be responsible for overall solution ownership of MES in the company including - Creation of MES Strategy - Maintaining the MES Roadmap to meet the business needs of various factories - Create &amp; Deploy of MOM solutions as per business needs - Service Management of MES solutions - Additionally the person will be directly responsible for MES deployment and support for India factories - Line Management of MES Development teams and support and deployment teams in India The ideal candidate should have the following experience &amp; Skill sets 1. Qualification - Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering 2. Experience a. Around 5 years- experience in Production / manufacturing function in any Industry preferably electronics Manufacturing b. 10 + years of overall IT experience in a manufacturing IT focusing in MES Solution design, development, deployments and support c. Experience in managing development teams creating Custom MES solutions would be an added advantage d. Overall good business understanding with reference to manufacturing companies 3. Mandatory Skills sets a. Knowledge of any MES products or solutions will be a value add b. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and Edge platforms c. Basic knowledge of control systems, SCADA and their integration to IT systems is desirable d. Good Project management experience e. Experience in deploying and supporting of Manufacturing applications like MES, SCADA, OPC, IIOT etc f. Basic technical knowledge on .NET Platform developments and deployments 4. Desired Personal Traits a. Excellent stakeholder management skills b. Ability to work with business stakeholders and across the board from Factory heads to line personnel c. Good communicator d. Good negotiation skills e. Flexible &amp; adaptable f. Ability to work across a matrix g. Able to deliver under pressure h. Able to gather requirements from diverse group of users and create concise requirements for application management teams i. Willing to work out of Sriperumbudur location 5.
