Job Description :
- Responsible for Legal support to the business team
- Single Point of Contact for managing all legal issues pertaining to the functioning of the company and providing legal advisory services on various matters.
- Focal point in preparation of all legal documentation, resolution of legal issues, contractual communications and commitments
- Update legal documentation pertaining to civil/criminal courts in which the organization may get involved and represent the organization in all legal proceedings
- Co-ordination with units on all legal maters
- Creating a litigation free environment
- Preparation of brief for senior lawyers
- Advising and assisting technical personnel on the preparation of summary of claims to be referred to Arbitration and compilation of documents / records / correspondence for preparing Statement of Claims.
- Perusal and vetting of Conditions of Contract for a specific Project.
- Aiding and advising the Company in all day to day legal matters referred to the legal department and assisting the Company Counsel during hearings on Company matters before the Supreme Court, High Courts and Tribunals.
- Taking part in Contract negotiations with Clients/Vendors along with business team personnel with particular reference to discussions / clarifications on important contract clauses such as Liquidated Damages, Liability, Payment Procedures, clarifications on obligations of parties to Contract, Settlement of Disputes, etc.
- Will be responsible for all work related to property rights, trademarks and registration under FSSAI.

- A strategic planner with extensive experience in managing the entire gamut of Legal function, developing and implementing situation specific strategies
- In depth knowledge and ability to manage the functions as per the need of the company
- Good communicator with the ability to relate to people across all hierarchical levels in the organization
- Drafting of all varieties of Agreements,
- Perusal of Project Tender / Contract Conditions for legal comments and mitigate the legal risk involved,
- Property Development Division - Perusal of Title documents and upon satisfaction, enter into Joint Venture Agreements with owners, Sale agreement / Construction Agreements etc
- Good understanding of Legal matters relating to Arbitration, Contract conditions and General Litigation. Very thorough and analytical in approach.
- Ability to independently address critical legal issues relating to day-to-day activities
- Adept at people management, maintaining healthy employee relations, handling employee grievances thus creating an amicable & transparent environment
