- Core member of legal team to provide primary, hand on legal support for global day to day operations
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, articulation, presentation and communication of legal matters
- Strong sensitivity to cultural differences, with the ability to deal effectively with colleagues and clients, including senior management
- Responsible for providing legal support across any or all functions
- High quality and responsive legal support and guidance to business as part of the legal team;
- Establishing collaborative relationships with colleagues both within and outside the local business; and managing external legal resources
- Contract drafting, reviewing and negotiation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal advice and documentation in a commercially sound and relevant manner
- Knowledge of domestic and international BPO industry and regulatory environment
- Ability to manage numerous matters and competing priorities and to work within a matrix set up
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, across functions, Region and Global Teams
- Handle drafting, reviewing and negotiation of customer and vendor contracts, respond to RFPs
- Provide legal guidance, training and opinion to business
- Be abreast with the changes in law position and overview legal, regulatory requirements
- Support the company's leadership team with due diligence on special projects, new initiatives and mergers & acquisition opportunities on need basis
Candidate should be Law Graduate with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a company or law firm with a strong commercial background and experience practicing corporate/contract law preferably in IT/ITES industry.
