Manager/Sr. Manager - Internal Audit

- The purpose of the job is to conduct control testing of key processes thereby contributing in improving the effectiveness of internal control processes and monitor and assess the adequacy of key processes so as to ensure value addition and improve an organization's plant operations and finally to propose controls for residual risks if any in the process

- To prepare a risk based internal audit plan assigned by the audit manager

- To conduct internal audits in the time frame set by the management and to deliver high quality internal audit reports

- To review the scope of work of the external service provider and to provide continuous support to them to ensure optimum audit coverage-Initiate new internal audit projects to oversee control environment in key business processes

- To provide timely and accurate information to the management on internal audits and to check evidences certifying adherence to the laid down policies and procedures

- Conducts assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end

- Develops audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.

- Identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk

- Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented

- Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk

- Ensures adherence at all times to all applicable department and professional standards

- Ensures adequate focus on personal professional growth relevant to taking on more challenging assignments, in line with standard audit career progression - proactively seeks relevant Education and training opportunities

Qualification And Experience :

1. CA with experience of 3-5 years in Internal Audit Function in a Manufacturing Industry is essential, with a background in writing audit opinions and/or developing audit plans

2. Knowledge of risks and controls associated with products across asset management

3. Ability to build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders

4. Good analytical and problem solving skills

5. Excellent organisational skills

6. Attention to detail

7. Good presentation skills

8. Good report writing skills

9. Good project management skills

10. Good experience in operational audits

11. Delivery focus with an ability to work to tight deadlines

12. Flexible, adaptable and ability to respond effectively to changing business needs

13. Flexible for travelling to Overseas Plant.
