Manager/Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Manufacturing Plant

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst/Manager is responsible for supporting the financial planning and decision-making processes of the organization. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing budgets and forecasts, and providing insights to support strategic initiatives. The FP&A Analyst/Manager works closely with various departments to ensure financial goals are met and to drive overall business success.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop and maintain the annual budget in collaboration with department heads.

- Create and update financial models to support forecasting activities.

- Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast and provide explanations for discrepancies.

Financial Analysis:

- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support business decision-making.

- Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks to guide strategic planning.

- Provide financial insights to senior management for effective resource allocation.

Reporting:

- Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to key stakeholders.

- Customize reports to meet the specific needs of different departments and management levels.

- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information in reports.

Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support long-term strategic planning.

- Assist in evaluating the financial feasibility of potential projects and initiatives.

- Contribute to the development of financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Forecasting and Analysis:

- Assist in the preparation of rolling forecasts based on current business trends.

- Provide scenario analysis to support decision-making under various conditions.

- Continuously monitor and evaluate the financial performance of the organization.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Collaborate with department heads to understand and address their financial needs.

- Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.

- Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
