Manager/Sr. Manager - Finance Projects - IT - Gurgaon
We are looking for Manager (Finance Projects) with one of the IT organization based out of Gurgaon.
Job Description for Manager, Finance projects:
Duties:
- Understanding and documenting Finance business processes and workflows and their relationships to current and future software solutions and explain it over to the implementation team.
- Interact and interview business (Finance) users and key stakeholders and document their stories and convert into requirement documents.
- Prepare Detailed Requirement Documents, Process Flow Diagrams, Test Cases and other documents required during a typical Application implementation.
- Plans, organizes and conducts business process reengineering/improvement projects and follow agile or waterfall PM methodology.
- Managing case management system - User support on generating tickets with implementation vendor and getting the same resolve.
- Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
Candidate Requirements:
- IT/ Finance Professional with Bachelor- s/ Master's Degree in Finance/Systems/Computers/ Business with 9-15 years- work experience.
- Excellent communication (spoken and written) and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels
- Excellent Interviewing and listening skills to elicit detailed requirements.
- Extensive experience in Application software Implementation (Finance processes) and should have done at least 2 full implementation life cycles. Analytical skills for transforming defined business needs into software requirements
- Extensive experience in preparing Functional Requirement Documents and testing documents.
- Experience with Accounting/Financial Systems, Contracts, ERP (especially Order to Cash cycle), CRM system implementations
- Highly motivated, results oriented, able to perform independently and effectively, with the ability to drive continuous improvement
- Detail oriented with an understanding of the "big picture"
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and able to work well with high-performance teams
- Self-starter, action-oriented with a strong recognition of schedule
- Ability to comfortably work in an intense deadline-oriented environment
Systems and technology experience
- CRM (Salesforce) and ERP in OTC, GL, P2P, FA, etc. Experience in CRM/HCM is an advantage
