Manager & Senior Manager - Finance Business Partner

A distinguished client of Innoquest Consulting, a captive shared services center specializing in the insurance sector, is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager in the finance domain to be stationed in Pune/Bangalore.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Serve as strategic liaison between Divisional IT and Finance, providing financial guidance, decision support around technology spend/ investments.

2. Collaborate with IT leaders to develop and manage the budgets, ensuring alignment with business strategy and financial objectives. Provide recommendations on technology investments based on financial considerations.

3. To support IT leadership with financial decision-making, providing data-driven insights to drive strategic decisions. The candidate will monitor IT spending and ensure alignment with financial goals and business objectives, including project forecasting and estimations.

4. Will require to oversee the financial aspects of IT projects, including cost tracking, budget adherence, and financial reporting.

5. Identify opportunities for cost optimization within the IT department. Analyze IT spending patterns, identify areas of inefficiency, and recommend cost-saving measures. Work with divisional IT heads to develop strategies for optimizing IT expenses while maintaining operational effectiveness.

6. The candidate will be required to analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to improve IT cost efficiency and value.

7. Act as a liaison between the IT department and finance teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of the financial implications of IT projects and initiatives.

8. They will assist in the evaluation and prioritization of IT investments and expenditures.

9. The candidate should also have exposure to areas of procurement and accounts payable, exposure to IT SOWs/contracts, invoice scrutiny, and corporate IT procurement.

10. They will contribute to the development of IT strategy by providing financial perspectives on technology investments and initiatives.

11. They will evaluate the financial viability of new technology solutions and their impact on the organization's financial health.
