Managing Engineering Database global platform that includes storage & complete management of technical data from all large projects

- Engineering data includes design documents, P&IDs, design basis documents, drawings, calculations, 3D models, layouts, data sheets, standards & specifications etc.

- The large database shall be thoroughly managed & segregated neatly to ensure ease of locating these engineering documents by global/regional project teams and other stakeholders.

- Collect, review and monitor engineering data from various sources, develop analytical trends and create Power BI/Excel dashboards to provide insights

- Data base would also store Global Engg Standards, Cost data, Capex files, Procurement Data (RFQ/RFP/Offers/TBA/CBA), design documents.

- Data shall be managed & arranged professionally & precisely to support future projects, technical analysis, developing engineering KPIs.

- Responsibly include creation of business case, CAPEX/OPEX Calculations, selection of right solution for engineering database meeting project requirements, user friendly interface, data security and optimized operation cost involving tech support from IT or Enterprising services.

- Regular updates to the database platform and support key KPIs presentation to Leadership team.

- Coordinating with IT team to Develop the Platform over Cloud & Creating Project implementation Roadmap.

- Developing System Architecture, Folder Structure, Secure Access plan, Managing third party access. Defining Backup Strategy and Data Archive Strategy. Setting up rules for Data Cleanup and Archiving. Defining Storage requirements and optimizing required infrastructure to save on regular cost of application management.

- Focusing on Ease of Search and User friendly. Adding attributes to each document and key words for easy and quick search.

- Working as Global Engineering Manager for Database management, Regular connects weekly monthly Project Progress. Schedule follow-up, raising Risk and alarm for project Delays.

- Driving end User Team Training Program, Promoting use of Engineering Database Platform across Regions and Business teams.

- Dashboarding of system status using power BI or other tools.

- Planning for Application Expansion adding features like use of third-party applications for use of multiple format of files, Managing required application license., Regular updates, and Security features.

- AI Features and RPA for cost data base for Automatic data Analysis.

- Sharing application Maintenance plans, creating issue logs and remediation plan in coordination with IT Team. Defining Support model and update agreements.

- Preparing annual Spend Forecast and cashflow plans with more than 95% accuracy.
