About the Role:
- We are looking for a highly experienced CRO expert to lead all initiatives.
- Conduct frequent user research to develop hypotheses for tests to improve the full-funnel conversion rate (sales:traffic)
- Focus on tests related to ads and landing pages: testing different creative themes, specific messages, USPs, location of different elements, alignment with the target audience, improving the UX, etc.
- Own the outcome of a certain % of tests being successful and improvement in conversion rates.
- Create and maintain a backlog of testing & experimentation ideas.
- Decide on the monthly and quarterly testing calendar, based on expected impact and ease of execution of tests
- Execute the tests in a scientific manner - choosing the targeting & experiment set-up (A/B vs multivariate) carefully, and monitor & fix issues during testing.
- Analyze test data and report on actionable recommendations.
- Also, use the same for future hypotheses Analyze user behaviour using tools like Hotjar/Google Analytics to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Build and lead the right team to fulfill the requirements of the role. These might include copywriters, design agencies, a data analyst, amongst others.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in CRO tools to setup, launch, and report on A/B tests/multivariate tests
- Strong proficiency in effective website design Expertise in using CRO and testing tools like VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize, etc.
- Experience with research tools including HotJar, CrazyEgg, Zarget or other similar tools.
- Expertise in using analytics and reporting tools to report on experiment results, like Google Analytics, Google Data Studio etc.
- Understanding of psychology, user behavior & best practices behind great UI & UX Experience with multichannel media campaigns including a working knowledge of paid search, testing ad copy and landing pages, and display ad channels like Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
- Strong statistical skills, especially with respect to hypothesis testing, A/B tests, multivariate tests, and significance determination.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - should be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (including customers) to generate hypotheses and present the insights based on running tests.
- Experience in building and leading a CRO-focused team
