This is a Manager/Sr Manager role within the Contracts & Commercial team focused on the Wind Domain, for a leading solar & wind energy firm.
- To discuss, negotiate and finalise the contracts with OEM and Vendors considering the projects offered based on the approval secured for the Project and considering the risk, key milestone and other deliverables under the Project.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Knowledge of wind power project - execution and key activities involved
2. Discussion on Term Sheet, MOU, contracts etc..
3. Contracts discussion - initial and preparing discussion points with suggestions
4. Taking input from the team (including cross functional) for the project and contract and discussion with OEMs
5. Contract implementation and its strict adherence
6. Tracking the account of OEMs and other contractors involved.
7. Knowledge of SAP for releasing contracts in SAP and other requirement of SAPs
8. Knowledge of Industry, tracking the new IPPs, their strategy, plans, investment, portfolio
9. New development, policies, opportunities in wind sector.
10. Exploring the new OEMs.
11. Tracking the strength, financials etc of the OEMs
12. Regulatory updates, risks involved
13. Market updates
14. Competitors knowledge
15. Development pipelines and opportunities
Deliverables
1. Ensure the conditions of Term Sheet / MOU is captured properly in Contracts
2. Contract implementation and its adherence
3. Strict tracking of agreed payment terms
4. Proper maintenance of documents
5. Compliance of Audit (internal) deliverables with no qualification.
6. Preparing presentation for Management
7. MIS in relation to contracts, payment to OEM, tracking ABG / BGs issued by OEM, it renewal etc
8. Exploring new OEMs / Projects
Education - A B.Tech Degree or MBA/CA with good communication skills
Experience:
a. Working experience of 6-8 years within the broader Energy/Power/Infrastructure/Oil & Gas domain, having knowledge of Wind or Solar Energy projects, would work
b. Knowledge of wind power or Solar Power project - execution and key activities involved would be preferred.
c. Experience in Contracts discussion, drafting,negotiations,contract administration, contract management, vendor performance monitoring & development, study of agreements & their payment terms,knowledge of policy etc., presentation for management
