- Develop the overall strategy for proprietary content programs, covering content creation, distribution, amplification, retrieval and re purposing.
- Create and execute the annual content programs plan, leveraging content to drive our brand and business objectives.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CONTENT PROGRAM STRATEGY AND EXECUTION
- Create the overall content management strategy covering in detail what content will be produced, the ecosystem that will produce this, how this content will be amplified across proprietary and third party channels, and what metrics will be tracked to ensure content programs deliver objectives
- Develop the monthly content programs calendar covering topics, channels, amplification plans and metrics. Work with various COEs to drive effective implementation
- Integrate the content programs calendar with other campaigns and communications initiatives
PARTNER ECOSYSTEM CREATION AND MANAGEMENT
- Detail out the partner specifications and required to drive the overall content programs strategy
- Identify and onboard strategic partner(s) who will drive the programs and be the single node between the ecosystem that will run the content programs and the company
- Set up governance processes to identify gap areas and ensure on-brand execution
- Work with the agency partner to identify and onboard various parties in the ecosystem that will execute various legs of a content program
CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
- Develop the overall content management system for the brand to create a single repository of all proprietary content, and help retrieval and repurposing
- Work with agency partners and COEs within the function to drive regular enhancements
CONTENT PLATFORMS CREATION
- Identify opportunities for creating new content platforms WHY THIS POSITION IS REQUIRED
- Leverage content to create desirable associations and form tribes of brand advocates
- Make a detailed and robust case for investment in new platforms
- Drive implementation and ensure delivery of the overall strategy from the new platform
- Ensure Return on Investment
PERFORMANCE MONITORING
- Define the comprehensive set of metrics to be monitored for the overall strategy and various content programs
- Set targets, measure and report performance for each program, and make necessary interventions
CROSS FUNCTIONAL AND COE ENGAGEMENT
- Work with various functions and businesses within the company on content generation, and COEs within the function for execution support
- Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness
- Leverage market data and insights to develop content themes and plans
