- The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the identification and preparation of clinical trial sites, hospitals, and medical professionals to ensure seamless execution of clinical trials.

- The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in research coupled with extensive operational experience, enabling them to effectively manage all aspects of clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and assess potential clinical trial sites, hospitals, and medical practitioners for suitability and readiness to conduct clinical trials.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness across all operational aspects.

- Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of operational clinical trial sites.

- Oversee the end-to-end execution of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to timelines and budgets.

- Drive business development initiatives to expand the organization's clinical trial capabilities.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to the clinical operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Candidate from an ophthalmology background is preferred.

- Proven track record of success in clinical research and operations management.

- Extensive experience in identifying, preparing, and managing clinical trial sites.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines governing clinical trials.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

- Prior experience in business development is desirable but not mandatory.
