The main job role of the IT Auditor would include the following-
Conduct Information Technology audits to determine effectiveness and accuracy of IT controls (Applications, databases, operating systems, data, infrastructure, processes etc.) and ensure compliance with the IT procedures/ standards.
Document IT audit work performed along with findings and associated recommendations. Escalates any unusual findings to determine and remedy risk factors.
Interact and follow up with concerned departments to establish action plans expected from the IT audit findings to ensure the timely execution in an efficient manner.
Follow up, on a regular-basis, the course of actions generated from the IT audit reports and ensure its execution in an efficient manner and on a proper time to minimize risks to an acceptable level.
Provide external audit support for financial audits pertaining to IT applications.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidates should have around 3 - 7 years of experience in IT Applications Audits including Application Security or IT Infrastructure audits (Data Center, Network, Firewall etc) or Information Security. Hands on experience in these areas would only be considered.
Applicants having capability to do independent Vulnerability Assessment / Penetration testing would be an added advantage.
Candidates need to possess appropriate professional / technical qualification in IT Audit (CISA, CISSP, CISM) or IT Security / IT Application (MBA or any other relevant qualification from technical background, viz MCA).
Applicants should have a pleasing personality, strong communication skills, efficient computer skills, ability to work well in a team with high levels of passion.
