Manager/ Sr. Manager- Business Development
Responsibilities :
- Enabling region to maximise all business development opportunities within the geography - retail expansion, upcoming developments for retail / brand development - metro rail, railway stations, airports, smart cities, industrial corridors, benchmarking, co-location of stores etc.
- Improving store profitability, viability leading to business continuity & positively impacting the Regional P&L - thru rental reduction, store relocation, resizing, co-location, innovative deal structuring etc
- Relationship building with large malls / developers / landlords to ensure best terms & retail presence in leading malls within the region & across India as Key account manager
- Targeted Retail network expansion for all businesses including tying up both properties & landlords - proactively based on market / industry developments / benchmarking & based on requirements from business teams.
- Spotting developments across the region and building ideas / concepts for branding & retailing opportunities and tie-ups - in the process interfacing with govt. & private real-estate agencies - including Domestic / International Airports, New Malls, Metro, Railway Stations, Industrial Corridors, IT Parks etc.
- Developing and sharing retail intelligence / Other retail companies on towns / market / catchment performance, rentals, developments that provide insights into our performance, open up opportunities for collaboration with these companies and strengthen the presence & profitability of our retail network
- Delivering the budgeted rental saving and enabling identified concern stores turn profitable
- Leveraging relationships with malls / developers / landlords to manage existing leases & negotiating renewals at the best terms.
- National Key account management of identified malls / developers.
- Key Account Management of identified leading malls / developers & building strong relationships with landlords / malls / developers, real estate consultants (DLF, GMR, JLL etc.)
- Retail Intelligence development & benchmarking with other retail organizations across the region
- Leveraging emerging market-places, avenues for Brand / Retail development
- Property & land leasing

- RBMs, Channel Heads, Marketing Services dept., Marketing teams

- Prospective malls / developers / landlords, brokers, property consultants, Govt. Agencies (NDMC / BMC etc./ AAI/Metro/Smart-City), Retail companies in QSR business.
Desirable Profile :
- Management Graduate with experience in business development, negotiation preferably from an organization having a strong footprint.
- Approx. 10 years of work experience with at least 8 years of relevant work experience
- Strong Retail / Mall / Organised Realtor / Leasing background
