We have been mandated by a leading credit rating agency in India for the below mentioned position.
Position: Manager/Senior Manager - Business Development
Location: Chennai / Mumbai; Should be ready to travel in India and Abroad
Experience: 3-5 years in selling products/solutions to Banks, Mutual Funds, NBFC's etc.
Academic Qualifications: CA/MBA Principal.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet company's objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets in BFSI (Banks, NBFC, Insurance, AMCs, AIFs MFIs etc.) and corporate segments - including products aligned with technology adoption in this space.
- Build strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Demonstrate strong growth in new client business.
- Ensure client stickiness and create climate for generating repeat business from existing clients.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and adaption.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organization's goals and strategy.
- Stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and market competitiveness.
- Participate in the development and implementation of pricing strategies and sales policies.
- Represent company at industry events, conferences, to promote our products and services.
Job Skills Required:
- Excellent understanding of the BFSI/MF/Fixed Income products including structured products like MLD/ELD and Derivatives/Risk
- Good understanding of current regulations in BFSI space including for FinTech's
- Excellent client and relationship management skills
- Should have prior rich experience in selling to Banks, NBFC, Insurance, AMCs, AIFs MFIs etc. as well as to Corporates.
- Solution selling skills/expertise.
- Ability to write and review Proposals for participating in RFPs/RFQs etc.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Basic understanding of the current prevailing technologies

- Ability to lead a team of motivated professionals.
- Strong ideation and analytical skills
