Senior Manager / Manager - Business Continuity Management

Purpose of the role - To support the Business Continuity Management framework across assigned geography(ies)

Areas of Responsibility & brief description:

Responsibility:

1. Support the implementation of business-wide Business Management program using best practices and frameworks such as BCI Good Practice Guidelines, ISO 22301, COSO and ISO 31000/Enterprise Risk Management.

2. Plan, document and collate the Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Risk Assessment (RA) and assist in creation and closure of disruptive Risk Treatment Plans (RTP).

3. Maintaining the internal calendars and triggering regular updates of documentation related to Business Continuity Management framework such as Policies, Processes, Procedures & Guidelines for critical client missions. Maintain versions and revisions to ensure that controlled versions of documents are available across sites.

4. Collate and maintain evidence and records related to Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) as required by various Certification Systems and Client/Internal requirements.

5. Assist in creation and updation of documents such as disruptive risk treatment methodology, risk treatment plans/registers, recovery strategies and recovery plans in the form of Emergency Response, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Plans, and other relevant functional/client mission specific plans as needed.

6. Assist in creating tools and templates that aid in digitization of BCM

7. Maintain a training and awareness calendar for BCMS. Assist in fine tuning of materials, eLearning, posters, and other job aids.

8. Assist in creation of the annual BCMS audits, testing and exercising calendar. Document and log audit, exercise & test results.

9. Help in closing business continuity risks through a planned calendar and seek regular updates from stakeholders to maintain BCM based risk registers.

10. Assist in Tabletop Exercises, Live Tests, Walkthroughs and Simulations to test the Emergency Response & Crisis Management Plans.

Qualification & Experience (Education, Experience, specific knowledge, skills, understanding, attitude)

Education : Minimum: Graduate or global equivalent degree, a degree in Science or Technology, is preferred

Additional : Post Graduate Degree/ MBA or global equivalent degree/diploma in Management / IT is desirable

Experience : 6-8 years of relevant experience. Experience in the service industry, IT or Banking is preferred.
