Manager/Senior Manager -US Accounts (Night Shifts)


Job Description:

The Audit and Assurance Manager will oversee and manage a team of auditors responsible for conducting audits of financial statements, internal controls, and accounting processes. This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive experience in auditing, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work products.

- Review and evaluate audit programs, testing procedures, and workpapers to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

- Provide guidance and supervision to audit team members, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing feedback and coaching.

- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, discussing audit findings, and providing recommendations for process improvements.

- Collaborate with senior management to develop audit strategies, identify risks, and prioritize audit objectives.

- Stay current on emerging accounting and auditing issues, regulations, and best practices, and ensure their incorporation into audit methodologies.

- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of audit staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking events.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.

- Years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with a focus on audit and assurance services.

- Demonstrated experience managing audit engagements and leading audit teams.

- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards (e.g., PCAOB, AICPA).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.

- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

- Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
