Manager/Senior Manager - Assurance/Audit - CA

As part of our Audit and Assurance Team, you would be the main point of contact from Windy Street for the tasks assigned by the Client and be responsible for the timeliness and quality of deliverables, along with managing day to day operations of those engagements.

The opportunity :

- We're looking for candidates who possess strong technical knowledge (both Indian GAAP and preferably US GAAP as well), including ability to read and interpret reviews and accounting standards along with excellent communication skills. The Vice President would have a team to manage and that makes project management skills and leadership skills as pre-requisites for this position.

- Windy Street takes quality of work very seriously, so the Vice President is expected to mandatorily review all the work performed by the junior team members and if required, execute work on their own to make sure all timelines and quality parameters are adhered to.

Your Key Responsibilities :

- Lead an engagement from the Windy Steet front and ensure the team delivers timely and high-quality work in line with the Client's expectations.

- Demonstrate strong understanding of aligned engagement.

- Develop and maintain productive relationships with Client's personnel.

- Proactively discuss workflow management with the Client, allocating resources to the assigned work and monitoring performance against standards.

- Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing with Client.

- Identify opportunities to improve the scope of work for own engagements.

- Standardize review processes along with leveraging best practices across one's aligned engagements or beyond.

- Motivate and lead one's team members, identify and foster key talents, coach and supervise team members.

- Be responsible for various operational matters related to engagements aligned.

- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example.

To qualify for the role, you must have :

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)

- Articleship with other big four or mid-tier accounting firms

- 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience with either a mid-tier accounting firm-or a top-tier accounting firm specially focused on External Audits or Financial Audits.

- Proficiency in MS Office apps.

- Interest in business and commerciality.
