Manager/Senior Manager - Actuary/Valuation - Life Insurance business - WFO - Mumbai

Responsibilities:

To be key member of the statutory reporting team and support shareholders and pricing team

- Carry out a detailed analysis on the experience of mortality, lapses etc and provide with constructive recommendation

- Carrying out periodical analyses on ALM position of the Company and communicate the result with constructive recommendation to various stakeholders including IRDA and Internal Management

- Monthly and Annual Statutory valuation and reporting

- Analyzing the valuation data in terms of its accuracy and completeness

- Building parallel models/UAT testing for testing accuracy of Prophet models

- Support in other areas of actuarial work on need basis

- Good teamwork and positive attitude to work is a must

- Prepare need-based MIS

Key Performance Indicators - Skills & Competencies

- Delivery of all assigned work items tasks accurately& timely manner

- Good exam progress.

Qualification:

- Good progress with actuarial papers including knowledge of CT5

Experience:

- 7+ years preferably in statutory reporting team

- Proficient in Excel and Good working knowledge of Prophet (Actuarial software) and SQL

- Should have good understanding of actuarial principles
