Manager/Senior Manager - Actuarial/Pricing - Health Product

CLIENT : FINTECH COMPANY

LOCATION : BENGALURU

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be responsible for/involved in:

- Data processing, Experience analysis and pricing studies for Group and Retail Health Products

- Build Profit testing and business forecasting models as well as portfolio monitoring reports for Health Business

- Liaison with business, finance, technology, claims and other teams as required to obtain or disseminate the information either for pricing, product development or implementation.

- Prepare associated pricing/product documentation for both internal and regulatory purpose for Health Business

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Prior experience in pricing health insurance products including business forecasting, profit testing and portfolio monitoring

- In depth experience of pricing or underwriting of Health products in the Indian market or a global market either in life or general insurance company

- Expertise in Excel and one or more programming languages / modelling software such as VBA, SQL, SAS, R, Python or Google Big Query

- Qualification in Actuary

- Sharp business acumen to understand insurance product needs and offer solutions accordingly with affinity for communicating with internal / external contacts

- Incisive analytical skills to analyse the data in various scenarios such as big data, scanty data and use it to make decisions
