Role Summary:
Marketing Consultant - optimize advertising spends across media and non-media channels, review effectiveness of marketing spends, audit marketing expenditure and evaluate performance efficiency of media (and other marketing) agencies. Perform in depth review to identify areas of marketing under performance and address the same with solutions that minimizes wastages and maximizes ROI.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating client's advertising activities for all the key areas of investments i.e. ATL Media (TV, Radio, Print & Outdoor), Online (Search, Mobile, Social and Display), BTL (Events, activations, POSM etc.), creative production and others
- Advice clients on marketing strategies / processes, measure the impact of marketing investments on business, review contract / financial compliance by the agency
- Analyze data from key media resources (TAM, BARC, IRS, ComScore, Radiance 6 etc.) to help client critically evaluate campaign performance
- Develop client presentations, translating data into actionable insights.
- Manage engagement / project economics to ensure engagements are executed in the most profitable manner
- Liaise with clients and their media agency towards the success of advertising campaigns
- Identify and pursue opportunities to represent Company's brand at industry forums / conferences / new article etc.
- Effectively manage and guide a team of at least 4 to 5 members for execution of the project
- Ensure highest degree of quality delivered to client through work product which does not just meet but exceeds global standards
- Manage and grow client relationships with a short term and long term strategic business intent
- Active contribution in developing proposals, identifying business opportunities, pursuing target clients and pursuit closure
Qualifications
- Extremely detail-oriented, very comfortable working with number and confident presenter
- Is inquisitive and has excellent analytical kills
- Ability to analyze and interpret large and complex set of media / marketing data to derive meaning full insights for client
- Creative problem solving abilities
- High level of business orientation and understanding
- Can work independently and is a self-starter, balancing multiple projects at the same time as well as being a strong contributor and team player
- Is serious about business and competitive by nature -- expects best-in-class results
- Required to travel extensively (domestic and international) for long duration for project delivery
Requirements:
- MBA from premier B-School (Specialization marketing preferred)
- Is interested in developing their career in the media / marketing consulting
- Excellent communication skills
- Mastery of MS Office (excel, power point, word) is must
- Proficient in usage of media tools such as TAM, IRS, BARC, ComScore, Radiance 6 etc.
