Manager - Seller Catalog Services - eCommerce

Currently hiring - Manager - Seller Catalog Services for an eCommerce company in Bangalore.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver on a strategy to enable broad use of the eCommerce company's Services by small/medium sellers and large enterprises in India.

- Responsibilities will include enabling sellers to create listings and be successful on the platform. In addition you will also be responsible for maintaining and improving catalog quality on the platform, in the process working with internal technology and business teams as well as sellers as needed.

- Candidates who delight in optimizing scarce resources and can strategically outline effective solutions rapidly should apply.

- The role requires the person to manage at a high level and at the same time be able to dive really deep in to processes and systems, needing to be completely hands-on when required.

- Manage a team of high performing individuals to perform a variety of tasks in populating / procuring content for the product catalogs on the Web Site. Duties for the team include, content creation, population of content from various sources (including research on the internet), interacting / coordinating with sellers/ manufacturers, identifying and correcting errors / complaints, maintaining records of work received and work performed etc.

- Liaising with various teams to create and define standard operating procedures and processes for the team enabling them to execute on the vision.

- Responsibilities also include maintaining the health of the catalog by performing regular audits, doing root cause resolution to fix issues found, closing the loop with sellers and train them on the fixes.

Desired profile:

- MBA from premier institute

- 5-10 Years work experience.

- Should be an Operations Manager who has handled a large team, make sure metrics are met, process implementation, team performance, capacity utilization, performance appraisal, etc.

- Can be Catalog management person from eCommerce company, or operations manager from IT, BPO, KPOs etc., ensuring project efficiency.

- Lean Six Sigma.
