Principal Accountabilities - KPI and Targets
Service Delivery
- Preparation of financial statements, related footnotes and MD&A disclosures for SEC documents namely 10Q/10K reports in accordance with the US GAAP and reconciliation with IFRS reporting numbers for management to ensure error less reporting.
- Preparation of various schedules for Group reporting and Regulatory Reporting
- Ensure ongoing Reporting and analysis support for seamless delivery to management and other stakeholders as per agreed service levels
- Co-ordination with in country teams, including the input providers and other stakeholders
- Drive the process re-engineering efforts within the team
- Manage the changes in the reporting requirements including the changes in US GAAP in the 10Q/10K document
- Preparation of documentation for the review of External Auditors and timely response to their queries
Skills/Experience Required
- BCom /M Com/ CA(Inter)/ CWA (Inter): 7-12 years, CA/CWA/MBA: 6-10 years of post-qualification experience in External Reporting/SEC Reporting
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in similar role is desirable
- Strong Knowledge of SEC Reporting Environment,10Q & 10K Reports and disclosures and Consolidation of data
- Sound understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and Accounting Entries
- Ability to understand the changes in numbers and their impact across the 10Q/10K report and achieve accuracies across report deliveries
- Strongly analytical skills and logical mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other query tools (Microsoft Office Access)
- Knowledge and experience in planning and organizing techniques as well as in problem solving techniques
- Self-driven, with the ability to lead teams and work within a team
- Flexibility to work in accordance with Business requirements
- Capable of working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into process/ data maps, etc
- Strong attention to detail and being solution oriented
- Complex analytical reasoning skills enabling appraisal of the Global reporting requirements and translate into functional requirements for system development
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to a global audience
- Willing to challenge the status quo, be proactive and innovative in driving change
- Willing to travel if needed
Note: Timings are between 6.00 AM to 12.00 midnight except for few days in a month/Quarter which might require late sitting
