Job Description (Overview of Role - BPC Functional Consultant with BW experience):

- Responsible for small to medium financial solutions project and provide support on larger, complex initiatives.

- Design, implement and deploy SAP BPC solution to achieve defined business goals.

- Facilitates the implementation and support of BPC to enhance business functionality and overall performance.

- Ability to gather requirements and translate these requirements into a design

- Maintain skills in SAP BPC applications process design and configuration; SAP BPC application design, development, integration, testing and deployment and SAP BPC application architecture.

Responsibilities:

- Wok on BPC application architecture, performance enhancements

- Preparing Planning and consolidation design documents, and process flows.

- Configuring Intercompany elimination with Interco members, business rules, and script logic.

- Configuring Data Manager Packages to upload flat file using Conversion file and transformation files.

- Documentation, training users and supporting the BPC system

- Configure ownership the application for the consolidation of investment

- Maintain the business rules for Currency translation, intercompany elimination.

- Usage of conversion, transformation files for the data management process.

- Working with both Technical & Application consultants to help them solve all kind BPC related problems.

- Working with business users to solve their BPC related issues & carry out various kinds of testing like functional, regression, performance testing

- Customizing the reports, Input Schedules, Logic to meet the specific needs of the client using supported functions with BPC.

- Hands on experience in configuring and defining BPC including creation of complex BPC reports, input forms, script logics, data manager. .

- Assisting customers with the application, reports, input schedules

- Identifies impacts and requirements for the business processes to support the organization, and ensures that business requirements are being met.

- Identifies and implements process improvements for SAP BPC configuration which increase organizational capability for delivering products that meet requirements.

- Consulting expertise on accounting and operational issues and analyzing operational impact in the business and finance operations.

- Researches and documents operation workflow, accounting and systems analysis.

- Participates in project execution such as developing BRDs and conducting testing.

- Requires a thorough knowledge of the bank's financial solutions and associated operations.

- Must be a self motivator and a quick learner, able to work well under tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Required Skills:

- Core skill: SAP BPC NW 10.0 (Functional consultant) with minimum 3+ years in the areas of BPC configuration/Support

- Experience in SAP BW including data extraction and modeling.

- Functional Knowledge of Financial Accounting and SAP ECC, BI NetWeaver is preferred.

- Strong Finance background - Candidate to be a commerce graduate/Post Graduate/CA/MBA

- Must have in depth understanding of financial accounting processes and process designs.

- Proven ability to effectively work in a fast pace environment meeting deliverables

- Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations

- Able to work well under tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy

- Excellent communications/presentation skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, team-player

- Excellent time management skills, Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication/presentation skills (both verbal & written) - To work effectively with varying levels of people (Global Finance & business partners, Technology, etc.)
