Stainless Steel Sales Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and visionary Manager of Stainless Steel Division to lead and grow our stainless steel business. This senior leadership role is instrumental in driving the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and market leadership of our stainless steel product line. The ideal candidate should bring deep industry knowledge, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a competitive market environment. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, relationship management, growth and profitability and long-term success in both domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Market Expansion:
- Lead the development and execution of the stainless steel division's long-term strategy, focusing on market expansion through new customer accusation and building supply, revenue growth, and brand positioning.
- Identify emerging trends, new business opportunities, and high-potential markets for stainless steel products, both locally and globally.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set and achieve sales targets, in line with the company's broader vision.
2. Sales and Business Development:
- Oversee the global sales strategy for stainless steel products, driving business development initiatives that expand the division's market presence.
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners to solidify the company's position as a leader in the stainless steel industry.
- Establish and maintain a strong network of contacts in both domestic and international markets to enhance business growth opportunities.
- Oversee stringent quality control measures to ensure that all products meet customer specifications and comply with industry regulations.
3. Financial Oversight & Profitability Management:
- Take full ownership of the P&L for the stainless steel division, ensuring financial sustainability and profitable growth.
- Implement robust cost control measures and improve resource allocation to enhance profitability without compromising quality or service levels.
- Develop and monitor financial performance metrics, regularly reporting results to the executive team and making data-driven decisions to achieve financial objectives.
4. Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
- Ensure full compliance with international and local regulatory standards, including environmental, safety, and quality regulations.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential risks related to production, supply chain disruptions, geopolitical factors, and fluctuating market conditions.
- Lead initiatives to ensure the company adheres to sustainable and responsible manufacturing practices.
5. Leadership & Team Development:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across sales, production, and operations, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
- Ensure continuous professional development through training programs, performance reviews, and leadership coaching to build a motivated, skilled workforce.
- Inspire a results-driven mindset and strong collaboration across departments to achieve strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Stainless Steel Industry
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, market share expansion, and operational efficiency in a competitive market environment.
- Strong understanding of stainless steel product development, quality control processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage P&L, optimize resources, and ensure profitability while balancing operational excellence.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improve business performance.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
