Job Purpose:
- The Sales Promotions Manager is responsible for overseeing GT (General Trade) - Key accounts sales, particularly focusing on Star outlets.
- This role involves driving growth, managing promotional and sales support activities, and ensuring effective execution of initiatives to enhance both top-line and bottom-line figures for this channel.
Responsibilities:
Growth and Visibility:
- Drive growth and enhance visibility in Star outlets.
- Achieve targets for both top-line and bottom-line figures within this channel.
Sales Development Activities:
- Design and implement local sales promotion activities to stimulate market performance.
- Lead IT initiatives and ensure compliance within the sales function.
- Spearhead distribution expansion efforts to widen market reach.
Promotional and Trade Marketing:
- Oversee all promotional and trade marketing activities within the region.
- Coordinate with the marketing team at the Business office and the sales teams in the region to align strategies and objectives.
Point of Contact:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the marketing team and sales teams in the region.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration to drive initiatives forward.
Support Structure:
- The role is supported by a team of trained Field Executives who will assist in executing the outlined initiatives across the region.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales promotions and trade marketing.
- Strong understanding of key account management and sales development.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to drive growth and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to sales and marketing functions
