Job Description

Reporting to the Business Manager for the region, you would be performing the following activities :

- Ensure all implant solutions achieve agreed growth targets

- Establish, develop and foster relationships with all key customers within the territory to ensure the company's implants are the implants of choice

- Implement partnership plans with key clinics/customers

- Identify potential customers, present information about the company's products, secure sales commitment

- Provide surgical support in the OR for Cochlear procedures during the start-up phase and an on-going basis as necessary

- Develop knowledge of competitor practices and activities, and identify strategies to counteract them

- Identify key decision makers and influencers and develop and leverage relationships to support the introduction of new products

Profile

An ideal candidate for this position would possess the following attributes :

- First class Science degree from a reputed Institution eg BE(Electronics), BTech, BSc

- 7 + years surgical sales experience with a multinational company, within a related sector (medical devices, implants or surgical solutions), preferably with a key account focus.

- Stable work history: - 3 years / role, preferably internal promotion.

- Exceptional spoken and written English language skills and at least 1 local language

- Strong presentation skills
