JOB DESCRIPTION :
- We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager specializing in web and mobile application services.
- This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and a proven track record in selling to startups.
- The candidate will be based in a key tech hub - Silicon Valley, Boston, or New York - and will play a crucial role in expanding our presence in these markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the startup community.
- Leverage existing networks of startup founders and investors (including angels and VCs) to generate leads.
- Independently manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Collaborate with our technical team based in India for solutioning and closing deals.
- Operate as a solo contributor, effectively navigating the challenges and opportunities of working without a sales team.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's/PGDM/Master's degree.
- Minimum 5-10 years of sales experience, with significant weightage on startup selling experience.
- Strong connections with startup founders, investors, and key players in the start-up ecosystem.
Skills:
- Exceptional networking, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of working as an independent sales contributor.
- Familiarity with the challenges and dynamics of selling web and mobile application development services to startups.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel as needed within the United States, primarily to tech hubs and startup-centric locations.
