- As the Sales Manager - Inside Sales, you will be leading a team who will be responsible for counselling students on phone and bringing revenue by suggesting the right products of the company.
- You will be responsible for the competencies spanning over three broad areas namely -
1. Sales team operational management
2. Coaching and training
3. Product, market and company understanding.
You will have 10-15 telesales agents reporting into you.
What you will do:
Sales team operational management:
- Target fixing and incentive alignment of agents
- Sales planning
- Organizing and developing plans for achievement of sales targets
- Managing the sales processes
- Ensuring effective use of CRM, IVR, Chat and ATC systems
Coaching and training:
- Being an effective and inspiring communicator
- Being a Motivational leader for the team
- Hiring and selecting the right sales people
- Performance management
The product, market, and company understanding :
- Having a Superior product understanding
- Having all exam details at fingertips and do not need to Google for Exam calendar, syllabus, eligibility criteria, college cut-off scores
- Being conversant with the company's history, founders, vision and values
Candidate Profile:
- MBA and/or Engineering degree from tier 1/2 institutes with relevant industry experience
- An inside sales role majorly with limited field sales opportunity
- Should have managed a team of 5 to 6 tele-sales members
- Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills
- Good Writing Skills suitable for digital campaigns
- Able to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
- Strong analytics skills
- Extremely polished communication skills
- Flexible for 6 days a week working with rotational off (Sunday will be working)
