Sales manager - south
Role : Responsible for end to end business development and sales activities, including lead generation and conversion, building sales proposals, and closing leads and contracts to increase new and existing business.
Deliverables :
1. Responsible for the business development activities in the target market to fulfil the sales target assigned
2. Generate strong leads and convert them towards sales and business targets
3. Understand technical project requirements and co-ordinate with the design team to build proposals and offer techno-commercial solutions
4. Responsible for closing the contract both from a technical and commercial perspective
5. Responsible for complete handover of the project, and payment collections
6. Continuously build and leverage a strong network of Government bodies, Sports departments, Consultants (Architects/Designers/PMC's), Contractors and other relevant stakeholders
7. Work with relevant stakeholders to improve the overall standards in our product lines.
Must Haves :
- B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Should have prior experience in Technical solution selling or Project sales
- Should have prior experience in preparing costing & sales quotations
- Good understanding of BOQ/Tenders
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Willing to travel frequently
- Past experience in Capital Expenditure business preferably in Construction, Heavy Engineering or Sports will be an advantage.
