As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. Your primary responsibility will be to promote our products and services to individuals and businesses, ensuring that their financial needs are met effectively.
What you'll do:
- Generate leads: Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online platforms.
- Conduct consultations: Meet with clients to understand their financial goals, assess their borrowing needs, and recommend suitable lending solutions.
- Present products: Educate clients about the features, terms, and benefits of our lending products, including loans, lines of credit, and other financial services.
- Customize solutions: Tailor lending packages to match the unique requirements and preferences of each client, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Complete applications: Assist clients in completing loan applications, gathering necessary documentation, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Build relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and other stakeholders to foster trust, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Collaborate: Collaborate with other departments such as underwriting, risk management, and customer service to ensure a seamless and efficient lending process.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience: Previous experience of at least 3 to 8 years in sales, particularly in the financial services industry, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of lending products, financial principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively and build rapport.
- Sales skills: Strong sales acumen, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Customer focus: Customer-centric mindset with a genuine desire to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Integrity: High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Team player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to work closely with colleagues to achieve collective objectives.
- Education: A bachelor's/Master's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
