Sales Manager


Role Overview :

- As a Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving top-line business targets by managing and enhancing relationships with channel teams and bank branches.

- Your responsibilities will encompass a range of activities from sales promotion and product launches to customer satisfaction and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Development :

- Achieve top-line business targets through effective sourcing and channel management.

- Build and nurture relationships with bank branches to cross-sell products and expand market reach.

Sales Promotion & Market Activities :

- Conduct and oversee sales promotion activities in the open market, including expos, events, and other promotional activities.

- Launch new products effectively, ensuring successful market introduction and adoption.

Customer Satisfaction :

- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle, from initial contact to disbursement.

- Handle end-to-end activities related to product processing, ensuring smooth operations.

Process Management :

- Coordinate with internal departments (Credit, Operations) to streamline processes and resolve any issues.

- Monitor and manage the acquisition and performance of channel partners (Connectors) to optimize product sourcing.

Risk Management :

- Prevent and minimize fraudulent or risky proposals, ensuring integrity and security in the system.

- Provide timely feedback to central teams for continuous improvement of product features and processes.

Training & Development :

- Conduct training sessions on selling techniques and product knowledge for team members and channel partners.

- Create a performance oriented environment by leading, motivating, and managing your team to enhance productivity.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a financial or product-based industry.

- Strong relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with bank branches and channel partners.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in conducting training and sales promotion activities.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, with strong organizational and process management skills.

- Analytical skills to assess and address risks and to provide actionable feedback for product and process improvements.

- Leadership capabilities to drive team performance and foster a high-motivation work environment.

Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- 2-4 years of experience in a sales management role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
