The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, particularly within the engineering/automotive sector, specializing in hoses, valves, fluid conveyance systems, and hydraulics. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic sales plans, and managing a team of sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industry, focusing on hoses, valves, fluid conveyance systems, and hydraulics.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions that meet their requirements.
4. Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
5. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to stay ahead of the curve and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
6. Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, providing regular updates to senior management on sales performance and market conditions.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
8. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services and expand our network.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 8 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in the engineering/automotive industry, particularly in hoses, valves, fluid conveyance systems, and hydraulics.
3. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
6. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
8. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
