Job Description - This is a strategic position to devise and implement required strategies to drive market share gain. The candidate needs to anticipate customer needs and formulate short/long term solutions; sales strategies into structured programs to achieve assigned performance measures.It includes liaison with nodal govt funding bodies

Within the industry, they are known to provide solutions that improve the efficiency of the entire laboratory, from sample prep to data interpretation and management.

Description :

Your key responsibilities would include the following:

- Act as a single point of contact within the food domain to internal and external customers

- Devise and implement required strategies to drive market share gain

- Should be technically sound to manage customers and should be able deliver compelling solutions

- Coordinate the resources internally to drive the organization's market share in the specified domain

- Extensively liaison with govt, regulatory and policy making authorities

- Travel extensively to meet Scientists throughout the country across food customers.

- Act as an expert of food market and should be able to capture the market trends

Profile :

- The candidate should hold a Masters Degree in Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology with 10+ years of experience in business development in the field of Life Sciences.


- Excellent communication and relationship building skills is a must


- Ability to work in cross functional teams


- Experience in working with govt regulatory bodies

- Willingness to travel across the country for 50% of the time
