About the Client: European Based MNC, A Biotech company into human nutrition business.

Job Purpose:

- To drive the sales growth in India and work with the Country Director India to help execute the India strategy.


- If a distributor is used for their territory they will be responsible for managing the distributors activities on all aspects of the business including imports, logistics, customer service and quality management.


- Liaise with regional and global functional teams to execute elements of the strategy as required including marketing, technical, lobbying and other business related activities.


- Exposure to Nutraceuticals, Human Nutrition, Human Ingredients business is required.

Sales results:

- Deliver the sales results for India including budgeting and all other sales pipeline activities to develop leads, convert them to prospects and maximize the conversion through to sales.

- Ensure the country sales effort is correctly mapped in Sales Force and Power BI and make sure these data sources are always in line with the country level dialogue around customer activity.

- Build the customer base as the sales grow ensuring a suitable balance between distributor managed accounts and direct managed key accounts.

- Divide activities between account management and business development to ensure a sales pipeline that is at all times able to deliver on future growth needs.

Team/distributor leadership:

- Provide guidance to the team/distributor through day-to-day issues of market growth - management of quality issues, supply chain & logistics management, financial management & general admin (rollout of head office initiatives, feedback for regional and global projects).

- Ensure team/distributor are provided with a growth environment that is in line with company's policies and procedures.

Marketing support for sales activities:

- Support sales activities through assembling of regional and global resources such as marketing assets and technical presentations as required to grow the market.

- Contribute market information to enable development of a marketing plan for India and to support execution of regional marketing and New Product launch plans.

Sales Support Activities:

- Support sales as required by providing local information and support to Customer Care to ensure smooth imports.

- Work with Country Director to make sure all aspects of sales are covered sufficiently to ensure orders are processed in accordance with company's Policies and Procedures.
