Manager - Safety - Pharma/Chemical

Position : Manager - Safety

Location : Hyderabad

Reporting to : Manufacturing Head

Specification:

- B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc ( Chemical)

- Minimum 10 years of experience

- Experienced in working with Pharmaceutical / Chemical industries

- Diploma in Industrial safety recognized by Govt of India

- Fluency in Telugu is preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Review of SOP's of various departments to fulfill the safety needs ; Guidelines on usage of PPE, Earthing of equipment's, ensuring exhaust ventilation etc.

- Convey the statutory requirements with regard to safety to all HOD's; Factories act, Petroleum act, Explosives act, Electrical act and Boiler act.

- Review of emergency plan and conduct mock drill; Awareness Training on Mock drill

- Chemical safety training to all contract employees; Preparation of training material and conducting them.

- Work safety permit systems

- Provide data on Accidents and incidents every month
