Position 1: Manager - Risk & Allied Operations

Area: F&O

Location: Mumbai (Andheri East Chandivali)

Qualification & Experience:

1. Post graduate with specialization in Finance, NISM certification

2. 8-12 years of relevant experience in Risk & Allied Operations

3. IT Skills - (knowledge of computer applications and well conversant with Microsoft Word & Excel, Networking, etc)

Job Responsibility:

- Manage the risk function and allied operations in the equity and currency segments, as per extant guidelines

- Handle Exchange(s) / Clearing House(s) interface, as per set rules and regulations

- Manage client collateral ( cash, securities, BGs and FDRs)

- Liaise with Branches, to address queries and other client related issues

- Work with Compliance unit to ensure adherence with set processes

- Coordinate with Audit (internal / statutory) team to ensure smooth completion of audit programs

- Work along with Automation team, for upgrade of back-office application

- Manage, train and develop direct reporting team, to ensure operational compliance and adherence to agreed TATs

Hands on Experience :

- Should have handled Client Risk function along with allied operations in a large sized firm,engaged in clearing and settlement of Exchange traded Derivatives (Equity and Currency segments). A thorough understanding of Derivatives risk is a prerequisite.

- Should have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Exchange / SEBI rules and regulations.

- Ability to manage, train and develop direct reporting team

- Possess good communication skills

- Adept in use of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel .

- Should be self-driven, results-oriented with a Positive outlook and having a clear focus on high quality output

- Able to work extended hours on occasions, when required
