Looking to hire candidates with the following exp for one of our Financial Services client.
Location : Gurgaon
The successful candidate will be required to manage area of Remuneration, Profit Share, Share Based Payment schemes and other employee entitlements for employees globally. Candidate will also require preparing disclosures and providing financial information for the Company's annual report including the Employee Equity Participation Note and Key Management Personnel disclosures. Providing timely response to business on payroll variances, expense analysis, business forecasts, and regulatory queries.
- Ensuring compliance to control standards.
Responsibility :
- Oversee and develop the monthly review and reconciliation processes, driving enhancements to ensure the output remains of a high quality and relevant to stakeholders
- Liaison with internal and external auditors.
- Support onshore teams during year end and peak timings.
- Managing ad-hoc reporting & queries
- Ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records, and ensuring compliance with finance control standards
- Involvement in migration of any additional finance responsibilities which includes developing and maintaining process maps and supporting documentation for all finance functions managed by the team.
Team development & Client Engagement :
- Primary review responsibilities of the work performed within the team ensuring adherence to timetable and work plan and maintaining of a high quality of the deliverable.
- Training and developing new starters; Leading and managing the team, and doing effective appraisals
- Managing client relationship and handle first level escalations; Proactively seeking client feedback to further improve service level standards
- Continuously innovate with focus to improve process –and add value; ensuring quality consciousness in all aspects of the team.
To be successful in this role you will have :
- Professional accounting qualification, i.e. CA or CPA.
- Minimum 6-9 years of post CA qualification experience including 4+ years of people management experience
- Willingness to travel overseas
- Willingness to work in different time zones to support the clients
- A strong background of Financial Accounting and Reporting Services is essential, inclusive of public accounting firm experience (preferably Big 4).
- Good technical accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and/or IFRS. Some knowledge of financial markets may be helpful, however not essential.
