Opportunity with one of the leading electronics Manufacturing organization
Location: Mumbai
Role: Store Operations
Purpose of Role and Key deliverables :
- Supporting the GM Flagship store, Manager Operations role responsible for the entire store operations, from building itself to the team that service customers. They must work collaboratively with the Head of Marketing to achieve the overall strategy:
- Responsible for the service standards and overall consumer experience delivered at Showcase
- Drive the commercial delivery of sales targets and revenue
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the full front and back of house operations with the support of 3rd party suppliers including, building maintenance, IT infra-structure, health & safety, utilities, cleaning etc.
- Supported by the GTM team innovate and refresh the space in line product launches.
- Procure, select and build partnership with best-in-class staffing agency
- Create strategy, structure and people to deliver on the objectives
- Set clear and measurable targets for staffing agency to deliver
- Resource effectiveness and management strategy - efficiency development, optimising roster, future planning for peak season etc.
- Ensure comprehensive and on-going training programme in collaboration with all SIELs product division training teams
- Ensure full engagement programme is in place to reduce attrition
- Lead processes to monitor and measure performance of full store team e.g. mystery shop programme
Manage front and back of house operations :
- Develop and deliver all operational processes and procedures to ensure the smooth operational running of the store
- Record all store operations within the operational manual and keep up-dated monthly
- Design new operational processes as new consumer propositions arise e.g. click & collect, new experiences etc
- Manage all 3rd party suppliers including regular communication, performance reviews, contract renewals etc
- Lead all health & safety requirements with guidance from legal and facilities teams
- Manage relationship with landlord to ensure regular communication on site works, opening hours etc
- Manage the full Showcase OPEX budget and operational processes including:
a. Contract management process (both internal and external)
b. SAP control (OPEX spend)
c. Legal
d. PO Raising
e. EO/PO management
f. Procurement relationship
g. Escalation for risks/issues
4. Educational Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Intelligent- passionate & motivated with high energy levels - ability to work in a fast paced environment
- A positive thinker, self-driven, results orientated individual with clear focus on retail operations
- A natural forward planner who is able to critically asses own performance & on-going of the operations function
- A mature and credible professional who is comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders in a complex organizational culture
- Someone with empathy who is reliable, tolerant and determined
- Collaborative: the ability to build a network, understand different points of view, overcome objections, deliver a vision, a plan and then make it happen by working with and through others
- Experience of navigating and delivering in a large, matrixed multi-national organization
- Excellent attention to detail
