- Resource Manager is responsible for the HR processes and the demand fulfillment of the Delivery Units assigned.
KEY ACTIVITIES :
- Responsible for filling demand and staffing resources; undertaking processes to identify and propose right talent to ensure fulfillment of all open roles.
- Understanding the business unit strategies as they relate to required skills and expertise, and contributing to action plans to leverage and grow the business unit's capabilities
- Managing resource rotation, engagement, ramp up and ramp down of resources for projects.
- Proactive analysis of data such as resource utilization, bench management and resource forecasting and providing recommendations as appropriate
- Measuring, monitoring and improving the usage of resource management systems and processes, and working to ensure systems are continually updated
- Accurate and current data for trending, attainment, forecasting, and capacity planning, and that all resource management processes are being followed
- Monitoring bench on daily basis for effective bench management and utilization, thus reducing bench age and bench cost to the organization.
- Performing mid-month and month-end analysis of utilization and identify developing trends and work to develop a course of action to reduce unassigned hours and achieve planned results
- Maintaining a skills matrix which will provide a comprehensive view of skills across business units and service lines.
