Role: Manager - Research
Reporting Manager: Chief Business Officer
Stakeholders Internal: Sales Edge team, Sales team, Marketing team
External: Research Customers, Technology Clients, Third party data companies
Role Purpose:
Lead the research team to deliver consistent and improved quality of work across datasets and help other line managers evaluate the performance of the team members based on regular quality feedback.
Responsibilities:
Gaining a holistic view of the consulting projects, advisory, and IT and Technology Industry Understanding.
1.1 Understand the role of emerging technologies and how they are impacting businesses in India and Macro level understanding of global as well
1.2 Ability to have relationship with people at all levels specially with CXO's across technology and startups
1.3 Complete understanding of Tech companies, strategies, GTM, Marketing and sales strategies
2. Focused quality research to arrive at a well framed and thought solution for the client.
3. Create a competitive advantage through market understanding.
4. Provide direction to outside agencies and internal resources in the design and implementation of research programs, processes, and result analysis and reporting.
5. Support primary research to identify, analyse, track, and report actionable insights to key business stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
6. Manage on-going data and tracking services, perform routine and extraordinary analysis, and ensure appropriate reporting access, formats, and analysis for all business functions.
7. Support the communication of key facts, trends, and implications via systematic reports, scheduled presentations, and ad-hoc support for key marketing initiatives.
8. Own small consulting engagements as an individual contributor or individual work streams in larger consulting engagements
9. Assist in business development activities by preparing project / work proposal
10. Work in collaboration with team members and ensure superior deliverables.
11. Represent TechCircle at various industry events, deliver custom speaking engagements, Roundtables
12. Well versed with Technology industry
Functional Competencies -
- Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
- Extremely detail-oriented with high standards for written and visual presentation of information as well as idea
- Excellent research, analytical, and numerical skills
- Ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.)
