Manager - Research & Development

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the R&D team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

- Develop and implement comprehensive R&D strategies and roadmaps aligned with the company's business vision, market trends, and consumer needs.

- Oversee the formulation development process for a range of homecare products, including laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids and bars, soaps, cleaners, and hand washes.

- Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, Production) to ensure successful product launches and commercialization.

- Champion innovation by identifying and researching new ingredients, technologies, and formulation approaches to enhance product performance, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, research partners, and industry stakeholders to stay informed about emerging trends and opportunities.

- Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree (M. Sc.) in Organic Chemistry or a related field (e.g, M. Tech. in Oils, Oleochemicals, or Surfactants Technology).

- A Ph.D in a relevant field is a plus.

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in R&D leadership roles within the homecare products industry, with a proven track record of bringing innovative products to market.

- In-depth knowledge of formulation chemistry, ingredient functionality, and manufacturing processes for homecare products.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
