- Allocation/Accounts/Analysis

Responsibilities:

- To assist RI head in negotiating and finalizing most suitable domestic as well as foreign inward reinsurance treaty program fro the company's growth and profitability on proportional as well as non proportional forms.

- To lay down strategy, plan and U/W philosophy for underwriting foreign facultative reinsurance business with the help of head.

- To develop profitable foreign facultative inward reinsurance business.

- Manage reinsurance of pool business.

- Reinsurance apportionment after due checking of data for all classes of business.

- Finalization of premium, claim, commission summary

- Apportionment of incurred claims

- Creating Upload file for SAP of Premium, Claims, Claims OS and Terrorism

- Compliance to documented BPMS processes

- To regularly review and proposed most suitable CAT cover.

- To develop knowledge and understanding on reinsurance among the team members.

- To manage and ensure timely filing of quality returns, settlements of accounts, RI allocation, preparation of bordereaux, risk profiles by the team.

- To liaise at corporate office with underwriting team at corporate office for drafting most suitable underwriting guidelines; with claims teams on large loss advice, event claims; with A/C team for cash call; with IT team for RI set up, improvement on document registers, statistics; with product team for development of new products.

- Develop subordinates and get them trained for higher responsibilities

- Compliance to documented BPMS processes

- Liaise with treaty leaders for special approval

- To find competitive reinsurance market

- Liaise with audit team for any audit queries

- Sound technical insurance and reinsurance knowledge

- Team management and inter-personal relationships

- Analytical skills & decision making abilities

- Interface

(a) Internal Reinsurance domestic facultative, underwriting, claims, accounts, audit, product and IT at corporate level.

(b) External Insurers, Reinsurers & Reinsurance Intermediaries

Qualification and Experience :

- Professional qualification in insurance / reinsurance, exposure in reinsurance market

- Post Graduation / MBA

- 5 -8 years experience in reinsurance
