Manager- Regulatory Reporting/Product Development/Implementation

Functional Responsibility / Domain Related :

- Candidates with strong experience in product development/implementation in Market Risk, Operational Risk and Credit Risk Management.

- Competent with Capital Calculation Methodology and Reporting for Market, Operational and Credit Risk.

- In depth Understanding of Value at Risk (VaR), AMA Modelling and FIRB/AIRB and modelling.

- Well versed with the concepts of financial instruments (Fixed Income, Equity, Forex & Derivatives) and their Valuation and Pricing.

- Valuation of complex derivative instruments and structure derivatives

- Detailed understanding of Scenario Analysis/Stress Testing and Back Testing Framework and its use.

- Well versed in Regulatory Reporting using Basel II, Basel III & Regulatory Guidelines on Market, Operational and Credit Risk.

- Subject Matter Expert (SME) with regard to RWA reporting using BASEL Guidelines

- Consulting to banks/Financial Institution on Market Risk Policy, Valuation, Pricing, Operational Risk Framework, and Credit Risk

- Consulting to banks/Financial Institution on Operational Risk Policy, Business Line Mapping Policy, Loss Data collection Exercise, Audit of Loss Data, Collection of Loss Data through revenue etc.

- In depth understanding of calculation of capital charge for Operational Risk under Basic Indicator Approach (BIA), The Standardized Approach (TSA) and AMA

- Use domain strengths to generate business by developing client relationships, identify / generate leads, make effective pitches, write effective proposals, etc. in his/her area of domain strength.

- Conceptualize new product

- Work on specific modules of assignments would broadly be in the areas of Market Risk, Operational Risk, Credit Risk, Basel II, Basel III as well as related projects

Process Adherence :

- Ensure timely execution and quality delivery of assigned projects

- Develop the project plan to ensure that the on-going development of products as well as post implementation support is as per the agreement with the client

- Prepare business development proposals, concept presentations and outreach activities

- Client Management / Stakeholder Management

- Interact with clients in to strengthen the relationship with clients.

- Stay alert to changing customer needs and come out with suggestions in terms of identification of new concepts/products/tools/services relevant to the market and support development of new specific offerings.

People Development :

- Manage an assignment-specific team of analysts and monitor performance to ensure timely and effective delivery

- Response to RFP, concept presentations and outreach activities

Essential Qualification :

- MBA (Finance) or equivalent

- Additional qualification in FRM / CFA would be an added advantage

Experience :

- 8 to 12 years

- Experience in product development, implementing software/ consulting projects in the banking/ financial services segment, is desirable

Skills :

- Ability to do quantitative/ statistical modeling is desirable

- Strong project conceptualization and planning skills

- Strong team management capabilities

- Strong analytical skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Positive attitude with qualities of a team player

- Innovative and solution orientation

- Open to new ideas and initiatives

- Independent performer

- Ability to manage performance under stringent timelines

- Result Orientation

- Should be open to short-duration stays at client/site locations
